USA Network Satisfied with “Satisfaction,” Orders Season Two

Cable programmer USA Network announced Thursday that it has renewed freshman drama “Satisfaction” for a second season. Lead-in “Rush,” sources say, will not be returning.

Production on the ten-episode second season of “Satisfaction” will commence in Atlanta next year.

“Satisfaction sparked a cultural conversation about modern love and marriage in today’s world,” says USA Network President Chris McCumber. “We’re excited to see where Sean Jablonski takes this thought-provoking series in season two.”

While the show’s ratings were not particularly impressive, USA Network touts the stability of the first season and popularity of the show on DVR.

It also boasts that last month’s penultimate season one episode (the last for which data is currently available) drew a series high live+7 audience of 2.43 million.
