Tove Lo’s “Habits” Reaches Top 10 at Pop

Tomorrow, singer-songwriter Tove Lo will celebrate the release of her debut studio album “Queen of the Clouds.”

Today, she can celebrate an entry into the Top 10 at US pop radio.

While her “Habits (Stay High)” did not reach the Top 10 in time for Sunday’s official Mediabase update, it did make the climb on Monday’s rolling chart. Measuring airplay between September 22 and September 28, the chart confirms that Tove Lo’s single was pop radio’s tenth-most-played song.

The multi-format hit, which received a boost at pop radio from iHeartRadio’s “On the Verge” program, garnered 8,162 spins during the September 22-28 period. That represents a week-over-week gain of 1,375 spins, which Mediabase says was the seventh largest at the format.

An irrefutable smash, “Habits” reached #5 on last week’s Billboard Digital Songs chart and #13 on the all-encompassing Hot 100. It is expected to move higher on the latter in the coming weeks.
