Lecrae’s “Anomaly” and Jhene Aiko’s “Souled Out” remain neck-and-neck in their battle for a bow atop next week’s album sales chart.
According to Hits Daily Double, opening day sales data suggests Lecrae’s album is on track for a weekly sum in the 75-80,000 range. Aiko’s album is trending towards a debut in the 70-75,000 range.
But insofar as early estimates come with margins of error, it is far too early to declare “Anomaly” the surefire winner.
Other notable debuts this week include Ryan Adams’ “Ryan Adams” (pacing for 40-45,000), Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance” (~40-45,000), Dustin Lynch’s “Where it’s At” (~30-35,000), Interpol’s “El Pintor” (~30-35,000), BANKS’ “Goddess” (~25-30,000), Robert Plant’s “Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar” (~24-27,000), Vance Joy’s “Dream Your Life Away” (~21-24,000), Rittz’ “Next to Nothing” (~21-24,000) and Meghan Trainor’s “Title” EP (~9-11,000).
