Nick Jonas’ “Jealous” Erupts at Pop Radio, Calvin Harris, Tove Lo Follow

Nick Jonas just made the rest of the pop music community very “Jealous.”

“Jealous,” his new single, impacts as the pop format’s most-added song. It scored support from a whopping 45 monitored Mediabase stations this week.

Not simply impressive in quantity, the adds list is also of a high quality. Among those to get behind Jonas’ solo single were New York’s Z100, Los Angeles’ 102.7 KIIS, Los Angeles’ Radio Disney and Chicago’s 103.5 KISS.

The combination of vast and high-profile support should enable “Jealous” to make rapid moves on the pop radio airplay chart.

Calvin Harris’ “Blame (featuring John Newman),” which scored enough opening day airplay to arrive at #49 on the rolling pop chart, also made a meaningful impact. The song won support from a list of 40 stations that includes LA’s 97.1 AMP, San Francisco’s 99.7 NOW and the aforementioned KIIS and KISS.

Jason DeRulo’s “Trumpets,” which reigned as most-added last week, received this week’s third best support level. It launched at 33 additional stations.

Tove Lo was common to the week’s fourth- and fifth-most-added tracks. Her solo effort “Habits (Stay High)” claimed fourth on the strength of 28 adds. Alesso’s “Heroes,” on which she provides vocals, was the week’s fifth-most-added track with 24 adds.

Already one of pop’s Top 50 songs, Hilary Duff’s “All About You” placed sixth on the add board with a healthy 23 adds. Echosmith’s breakthrough “Cool Kids” was seventh-most-added with 22 new pickups, while Ed Sheeran’s “Don’t joined 19 monitored rotations this week.

Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” (16 adds) and Mr Probz’ “Waves” (15 adds) ranked as ninth- and tenth-most-added, respectively.

Tied for eleventh-most-added, Bastille’s new “Flaws” and Cobra Starship’s debuting “Never Been in Love (featuring Icona Pop)” each impacted with a respectable 14 adds.
