Update: After initially reporting that Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” garnered an additional 340,000 paid downloads last week, Billboard has updated its data. It now says “Shake it Off” was at the center of 355,000 purchases. That means its cumulative total as of this past week is 899,000.
Other sales numbers were also edited; the official top ten is now as follows:

Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off” moved an additional 340,000 copies over the past week to put itself within striking distance of the million sales mark.
Once again the #1 song on Billboard’s Digital Songs chart, “Shake it Off” now claims a two-week total of 884,000. It will surely surge past the million gate this week.
Despite suffering its first weekly decline to date, Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” holds at #2 on the Digital Songs chart. It added 251,000 paid downloads to its cumulative total last week.
Fueled by its VMAs exposure and music video launch, Jessie J + Ariana Grande + Nicki Minaj’s “Bang Bang” enjoyed a 47% boost to 233,000 weekly downloads, which is its highest mark on record. It nonetheless holds at #3.
Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” (181,000) and Iggy Azalea’s “Black Widow (featuring Rita Ora)” (177,000) hold at #4 and #5, respectively.
Eminem’s “Guts Over Fear (featuring Sia)” starts at #6 with 130,000 weekly sales. Other top ten sellers include Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” (#7, 115,000), Ariana Grande’s “Break Free (featuring Zedd)” (#8, 113,000), Maroon 5’s “Maps” (#9, 94,000) and Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap” (#10, 86,000).
