Jimmy Fallon, Joe Morton Win Guest Actor Emmys

While numerous important awards are handed out at the Creative Arts Emmys ceremony, mainstream attention typically turns to the four guest actor prizes.

As of 10:30PM ET, the 2014 winners have been officially announced.

The comedy prizes for Outstanding Guest Actor and Outstanding Guest Actress were awarded to Jimmy Fallon and Uzo Aduba, respectively. Fallon won for his hosting appearance on “Saturday Night Live,” while Aduba claimed the trophy for her work as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren on “Orange is the New Black.”

The respective dramatic winners for Outstanding Guest Actor and Actress were Joe Morton and Allison Janney. Morton earned his Emmy for appearing as the villainous Rowan/Elijah Pope on “Scandal.” Janney’s work as Margaret Scully on “Masters of Sex” was responsible for the latest addition to her Emmy collection.
