NBC’s “Late Night” Ratings Jump for Taylor Swift

While Taylor Swift did not drive Wednesday’s edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to elevated ratings, she did provide a boost for Thursday’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

Thursday’s episode, which featured Swift as its “A” interview guest, drew a 1.5 overnight household rating. In the Top 25 markets local people meters, it posted a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating.

Both numbers were up from the corresponding 1.2 and 0.5 drawn by Wednesday’s broadcast, which featured Mickey Rourke, Matthew Weiner and Men in Blazers.

Boy George and Derek Waters joined Swift on the Thursday edition of “Late Night.”

Swift’s episode provided “Late Night” with its best overnight household mark this week. Its 0.6 adults 18-49 rating tied that of the Tuesday episode, which welcomed Meredith Vieira, Dane DeHaan and Magic Man.

It also considerably outdrew last Thursday’s telecast, which settled for a 1.1 household mark and a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating
