Ratings: FX’s “Tyrant” Has Best Performance in Weeks

After several weeks of stable adults 18-49 ratings and declining viewership counts, FX’s “Tyrant” improved in both columns this week.

Tuesday’s episode, the show’s eighth, drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.53 million viewers.

Up from last week’s 0.5 rating, the 0.6 demo score represents the show’s best since the third installment. It ties that episode–and the June 24 premiere–as a high mark for the series.

Up from last week’s 1.34 million mark, the viewership average of 1.53 million is the show’s highest since the fourth episode attracted 1.57 million viewers.

Far from a ratings juggernaut (its weekly adults 18-49 rating is typically half that of fellow freshman FX drama “The Strain”), the show has demonstrated impressive stability in the young adults demographic.
