Ratings: FX’s “The Bridge” Hits Another Scary Low

For the second consecutive week (and third time this season), an episode of FX’s “The Bridge” garnered series low viewership.

For the first time ever, that viewership average was short of the one million mark.

Wednesday’s edition of “The Bridge” drew a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating with just 930,000 viewers. The 0.3 rating ties the series low mark posted by last week’s edition and the July 16 episode.

The 930,000 viewership mark, however, trails last week’s 1.13 million total. It represents the smallest first run audience ever drawn not only by “The Bridge” but by any of FX’s active drama series.

Accepting of the changing television climate, FX, under a new directive, does not comment on ratings until “Live + 3” data, which incorporates the live broadcast plus three days of time-shifted viewing, is made available.

It is hard, however, to imagine there is no concern whatsoever about the way first-run episodes of “The Bridge” are performing.
