The “Wait” is over.
Buzzworthy pop band Rixton premieres its new single “Wait on Me” on Monday’s edition of “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”
The follow-up to the band’s breakthrough, multi-format hit “Me and My Broken Heart,” “Wait on Me” finds the band offering an aural hybrid between Maroon 5’s “One More Night” and Ace of Base’s “All That She Wants.” It goes for pop radio adds next week.
Taped Monday evening, the performance followed host Seth Myers’ interviews with Joan Rivers and his brother Josh Meyers. It was due to air at the end of Monday’s “Late Night” episode, which broadcasts on NBC at 12:35AM ET.
