FX’s “The Bridge” Ratings Rally Back from Last Week’s Low

No, Wednesday’s edition of “The Bridge” did not deliver blockbuster numbers.

It did, however, enjoy a 66% bump from last week’s series low adults 18-49 rating.

The episode, which was the third of the FX drama’s second season, posted a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating. While the gain was not as dramatic as that of the demo rating, viewership increased to 1.29 million viewers.

Last week’s episode drew a 0.3 rating with 1.18 million viewers.

While it is commanding the smallest audience of FX’s three active dramas, this week’s “The Bridge” matched the latest installment of newcomer “Tyrant” in the adults 18-49 demo. New drama “The Strain” convincingly outperformed “The Bridge” in both categories.

The third second season episode of “The Bridge,” meanwhile, outdrew the corresponding edition of fellow FX series “The Americans.” That episode, which aired on March 12, 2014, drew a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating with 1.27 million viewers.
