The newest member of the iTunes Top 10 is one of two new members in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.
Becky G’s “Shower,” which rose to the #10 spot on iTunes in the early morning hours Thursday, climbs to #18 on the latest edition of the Hot 100.
The seventeen year old’s track, which is in its seventh week on the Hot 100, continues to gain at pop radio. It was the format’s seventeenth-most-played song for the seven days ending July 23.
Also new to the Top 20 this week is Enrique Iglesias’ red hot “Bailando (featuring Descemer Bueno, Gente de Zona and Sean Paul).” The song cruises six places to #17 on this week’s chart.
Other weekly Hot 100 gainers:
— OneRepublic’s “Love Runs Out” reaches a new peak of #15. It is the band’s fifth release to hit the Top 15.
— Tinashe’s “2 On (featuring Schoolboy Q)” hits #25 this week.
— Despite beginning to lose airplay at pop radio, AJR’s “I’m Ready” continues to rise on the Hot 100. It elevates to a new high of #65.
— While considerable attention has been devoted to Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass,” which rose 30 places to #54 this week, Colbie Caillat’s empowerment effort “Try” also enjoys a gain. It hits a new peak of #55 on the Hot 100.
— Jeremih’s “Don’t Tell ‘Em (featuring YG)” cruises to #55.
