Nico & Vinz’ “Am I Wrong” Hits #1 at Pop Radio, OneRepublic Top 10

It took a day longer than initially expected, but it finally happened.

Nico and Vinz’ “Am I Wrong,” which already reaches the largest radio audience according to the latest Billboard Radio Songs chart, has reached #1 on Mediabase’s rolling pop radio airplay chart.

It will still need to hold the position through the weekend to score a #1 on the official, published report, but with Ariana Grande’s previous leader–and current #2–“Problem (featuring Iggy Azalea)” no longer rising and MAGIC’s exploding #3 “Rude” too far removed to close the gap this weekend, “Am I Wrong” should be able to achieve the feat.

Come next week, however, it will very likely relinquish the throne to “Rude.” According to Mediabase, “Am I Wrong” scored 17,233 pop radio spins over the seven days ending July 11. That marked an increase of 738 from the previous seven day period.

#3 “Rude” earned 16,112 spins but enjoyed a weekly gain of 2,288.

Other top five songs include Ariana Grande’s #2 “Problem” (17,212, -63), Calvin Harris’ #4 “Summer” (14,804, +67) and Iggy Azalea’s #5 “Fancy (featuring Charli XCX)” (14,298, -1644).

Other notables on the chart:

— Maroon 5’s “Maps,” which recently entered the Top 10, improves one spot to #9 for the seven days ending July 11.

— OneRepublic’s “Love Runs Out” joins the top ten on the latest version of the chart. It was pop radio’s 10th-most-played song for the seven days ending July 11.

— Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap” reaches a new peak of #15 on the rolling airplay chart. Sia’s “Chandelier” climbs two places to enter the Top 20.

— Tinashe’s “2 On (featuring Schoolboy Q)” jumps four places to enter the Top 40 on the rolling version of the chart. It was pop radio’s 39th-most-played song over the measured period.
