Sia’s “1000 Forms of Fear” Album Sales Pacing for 50K

Benefiting from continued buzz around lead single “Chandelier” and an attractive $7.99 price point on iTunes, Sia’s new album “1000 Forms of Fear” is tracking as the week’s strongest debut.

According to Hits Daily Double, the release is on pace to sell about 50,000 (US) copies in its inaugural frame.

While that might not be enough to claim number one on the overall Billboard 200 — early indications are that the “Frozen” soundtrack and Sam Smith’s “In the Lonely Hour” will also score sales in that range this week — it will easily rank as the biggest week of her career.

The aforementioned “Chandelier” is currently #10 on the iTunes single sales chart. The album is #1.
