Maroon 5’s “Maps” Already Top 25 at Radio, Demi Lovato Nears Top 20

Thanks to an scalding first week reception, Maroon 5’s “Maps” is already in the Top 25 on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart.

The song, which launched earlier this week, had already received 2,889 spins by the end of tracking on June 19. Despite not even benefiting from a full week of availability, it was the 24th-most-played song for the trailing seven days.

With 24.04 million impressions, its audience ranked as the Top 40 format’s eighteenth-largest.

As Maroon 5 celebrates a Top 25 entry, Demi Lovato’s “Really Don’t Care (featuring Cher Lloyd)” is preparing for imminent entry into the Top 20.

Currently #21 at radio, the latest Lovato single will overtake Jennifer Lopez’ #20 song “First Love” by as early as this weekend.

The track might, however, find itself leapfrogged by Maroon 5’s surging “Maps.” But even if that keeps it from reaching–and sustaining–a top 20 spot this weekend, “Really Don’t Care” will move comfortably into the top 20 before its radio run ends.
