Update: “24: Live Another Day” Ratings Sink 13% to Series Low

Update 2: There is no longer any ambiguity: Monday’s “24” was the series’ worst-performing episode to date.

The episode, the eighth of the “24: Live Another Day” event, posted a series low 1.4 adults 18-49 rating. Its viewership average of 5.63 million was also a low.

Update: Monday’s edition of “24: Live Another Day” drew a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating with 5.66 million viewers, according to Nielsen Fast National data.

If the numbers are not adjusted up in the finals, they will combine to represent the worst performance in the FOX drama’s history. The 1.5 rating, which was down by 6% from last week’s number, ties the previous series low set on Memorial Day. The viewership average of 5.66 million, however, sets a new low mark for the show.
========

Roughly stable at this point, FOX’s “24: Live Another Day” will still be subject to slight weekly ratings oscillation as it approaches its finale.

The overnight rating for Monday’s episode, the eighth of the season, ticked slightly in the downward direction. The household mark, which might not be perfectly reflective of the show’s performance in adults 18-49 or total viewers, registered at a 4.5.

Last week’s episode drew a 4.6 overnight household rating, which was down from the 4.8 posted by the June 2 edition.
