Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Jana Kramer Score at Country Radio

Country radio’s reception to “Day Drinking” was more than a little big.

The track, which serves as the lead single from the group’s upcoming album “Painkiller,” scored adds from a whopping 82 country stations this week. According to Mediabase, it easily ranked as the format’s most-added song.

Miranda Lambert & Carrie Underwood’s “Somethin’ Bad” followed with a healthy 64 station pickups, while Jana Kramer’s new “Love” arrived to a warm welcome from 36.

With respective add counts of 30 and 29, Eric Church’s “Cold One” and Lady Antebellum’s “Bartender” ranked as country radio’s fourth- and fifth-most-added tracks.

Cole Swindell’s “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight” (26), Jon Pardi’s “What I Can’t Put Down” (21), Danielle Bradbery’s “Young in America” (20), Gloriana’s “Best Night Ever” (19), Brantley Gilbert’s “Small Town Throwdown (with Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett)” (18) and Zac Brown Band’s “All Alright” also had strong weeks.

While they were not in the top ten, Rascal Flatts’ and Hunter Hayes’ made early waves with their respective releases “Payback” and “Tattoo.” The songs, which impact the format next week, received 14 and 10 advance adds, respectively.

Since Mediabase’s airplay chart only considers data from monitored stations, it is also worth noting how the songs fared with those channels this week:

1) Little Big Town – Day Drinking – 67 monitored adds
2) Miranda Lambert & Carrie Underwood – Somethin’ Bad – 49
