“Modern Family” Ratings Improve for Wedding Finale

Wednesday’s “Modern Family,” which ended both the series’ fifth season and its two-part wedding episode, enjoyed improved ratings.

Despite facing the “American Idol” finale, the episode drew a 3.6 adults 18-49 rating with 10.23 million viewers in the Nielsen Fast Nationals. Both figures were up from those of last week’s broadcast, which drew a 3.2 rating and 9.08 million viewers according to the Final Nielsen Report.

Based on the currently available viewership average, the episode was the series’ most-watched since the “The Old Man & The Tree” episode aired on December 11, 2013.

Cancelled “Mixology,” which led out of “Modern,” drew a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating with 4.01 million viewers for its finale.
