Update 2: As expected, ratings for The CW’s “Star-Crossed” finale were adjusted down in the final Nielsen report.
That report, which removes the inflationary impact of the New York-area baseball pre-emption, says that the drama’s final episode posted a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating with 0.83 million viewers.
Even with the previous episode’s rating in adults 18-49, the performance trailed that episode’s 0.87 million total viewer mark.

Update: While ratings for the “Star-Crossed” finale were up in the fast nationals, a revision is expected to bring them back to usual levels in the finals.
Because The CW’s New York affiliate pre-empted “Star-Crossed” for the Mets-Yankees game, the current data numbers are almost certainly inflated. At press time, they stand at a 0.4 in adults 18-49 and 1.16 million in total viewers.

The series finale of “Star-Crossed” likely did not inspire regret on the part of The CW, which officially cancelled the freshman drama last week.
The episode, which aired Monday, slipped a tenth to a 0.7 overnight household rating. That number ties the show’s series low mark in the overnight ratings.
Last week’s installment, which drew a 0.8 in the overnights, posted a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating with 870,000 viewers in the final Nielsen report.
In a series of scheduling moves made ahead of its upfront presentation, The CW last week renewed “Hart of Dixie,” “The 100” and “Beauty and the Beast” but cancelled bubble series “Star-Crossed,” “The Tomorrow People” and “The Carrie Diaries.”
