Update: While the season three finale of ABC’s “Scandal” did not set a high in the adults 18-49 demographic, it did indeed set one in the total viewership category.
According to Nielsen’s Final Broadcast Data, Thursday’s “Scandal” drew a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating with 10.57 million viewers. The highest-rated “Scandal” finale to date, it was also the most-watched episode in the show’s three-season history.
The previous high mark belonged to the third season premiere, which attracted 10.52 million viewers. Its 3.6 adults 18-49 rating, however, topped that delivered by this week’s finale.
“Grey’s Anatomy,” which led into “Scandal,” posted a 2.6 rating with 8.45 million viewers.
