Its “Fever” is only just beginning its run up the charts, but rock duo The Black Keys is wasting no time introducing fans to the other sounds of its upcoming album “Turn Blue.”
Hoping to keep anticipation for the release at a boil, the band officially uploaded the album’s title track to YouTube Monday.
Lower-key and grittier, “Turn Blue” is likely to meet a warmer reception from long-time Black Keys fans than its predecessor “Fever.” Both songs, however, reflect a band that as sure as ever of its identity, as clear as ever in its influence and as precise as ever in its commercial intent.
