“Hannibal” Ratings Fall Right Back Down

Even though it attracted a far smaller adults 18-49 audience than CBS’ special NCAA Basketball coverage, the return of “Blue Bloods” evidently took a bite out of NBC’s “Hannibal.”

After rising to a 1.1 last week (adjusted down to a 1.0 in the finals), NBC’s acclaimed drama slipped to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 2.32 million viewers for this week’s episode. It placed last in the 10PM slot behind CBS’ “Blue Bloods” (1.5, 11.40 million) and ABC’s improved “20/20” (1.5, 6.33 million).

If the viewership count holds in the finals, it will represent a season low for “Hannibal.”

Earlier in the night, NBC offered “Dateline” (1.2, 6.15 million) and “Grimm” (1.3, 4.88 million).
