Update: Monday’s “Star-Crossed,” which held steady at its series low 0.3 adults 18-49 rating, set a new low mark in viewership.
According to Nielsen’s final broadcast data, Monday’s episode garnered just 0.88 million viewers. The previous low was held by the March 10 episode, which attracted 0.99 million pairs of eyeballs.
“The Tomorrow People” had an even rougher night. After reigning as the stronger of The CW’s two options last week, the show slipped to a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating with just .78 million viewers. Both numbers represent series lows.
========
Airing on television’s most competitive night, The CW’s Monday combination of “Star-Crossed” and “The Tomorrow People” again failed to gain ratings momentum.
After rising to a 0.9 overnight household rating last week, 8PM freshman “Star-Crossed” slipped back to a 0.8 this week. “The Tomorrow People,” which moved to the 9PM slot last week, matched that time period premiere’s 0.8 rating.
Adults 18-49 and total viewership numbers will not be released until 11:30AM, but based on the rough steadiness in the overnights, there is no reason to believe this week’s figures will differ significantly.
For reference, last week’s “Crossed” posted a 0.3 adults 18-49 rating with 1.00 million. “The Tomorrow People” drew a 0.4 with 1.17 million.
