AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Ratings Climb After Last Week’s Heartbreaker

Buzz stemming from last week’s heartbreaking edition of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” translated into an improved rating for this week’s telecast.

After posting a 6.4 adults 18-49 rating with 12.9 million viewers for that episode, in which Lizzie and Mika Samuels were killed, “TWD” garnered a 6.7 rating with 13.5 million viewers for this week’s installment.

The fourth season’s penultimate segment, this week’s episode featured a portion of the gang (including a reunited Glenn and Maggie) arriving at the buzzworthy “Terminus.” It also showcased Daryl’s adjustment to life with his new (temporary?) crew and a pleasant moment between Rick, Michonne and Carl.

Next week’s finale will likely bring more in the way of action, drama and heartache.
