“Party Down South” Ratings Set CMT Record, Last Episode Hits Yearly High

They might not rival those of “Jersey Shore” or “Buckwild,” but ratings for CMT’s new series are definitely not “Down South.”

After four telecasts, CMT original “Party Down South” ranks as the network’s “top-rated Live +3 series in network history.”

Last week’s episode, meanwhile, delivered the best Live+3 rating for a CMT original since the second season premiere of “Redneck Island” aired in November 2012.

That Live + 3 rating, which kept the show’s streak of weekly ratings gains intact, registered as a 0.77 in the adults 18-49 demographic. The episode attracted more than one million viewers.

CMT added that “Party” is averaging a 1.0 rating in the women 25-34 demographic.
