Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Score Grammy for Best New Artist

Already multiple-time winners, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis just added one of the “Big Four” Grammys to their trophy shelves Sunday.

The duo, which dominated the year’s airwaves with songs like “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us,” was named Best New Artist at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony.

Also up for Song of the Year and Album of the Year, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis defeated Kacey Musgraves, Kendrick Lamar, James Blake and Ed Sheeran to pick up the award.
