NBC had a business weekend at the Television Critics Association Press tour.
In addition to effectively confirming a seventh season of “Parks & Recreation,” the network ordered pilots “State of Affairs” (starring Katherine Heigl) and “Old Soul” (produced by Amy Poehler, starring Natasha Lyonne) and announced “Peter Pan” as its next live musical, Billy Crystal and Garth Brooks as the final “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” guests and Will Smith and U2 as the first “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” guests.
It also released teasers for the return of “Hannibal” and the debuts of new series “About a Boy,” “Growing Up Fisher,” “Believe” and “Crisis.”
