“Men at Work” Season Premiere Scores Weak Ratings

Not terrible by cable standards, ratings for the second season of TBS’ “Men at Work” hardly provided an airtight case for the series’ renewal.

TBS did, nonetheless, bring the show back for a third season.

Wednesday’s season premiere did not provide much justification for that renewal.

“Pre-Posal,” the episode, drew a mere 0.6 adults 18-49 rating with 1.34 million viewers; the latter figure ties a series low. Both figures were down considerably from the 0.8 rating and 1.69 million viewer mark posted by the season two premiere.

After spending its first two seasons on Thursday nights, “Men” relocated to Wednesdays for season three.
