“The Sing-Off” Ratings Fall Again, Beat “The X Factor” Again

The season’s third airing of “The Sing-Off” endured its second ratings decline.

After opening to a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating after “The Voice” on Monday, the a capella competition slipped to a 1.8 rating for Wednesday’s two-hour broadcast. Thursday’s one-hour episode, which again aired opposite FOX’s “The X Factor,” endured another decline to settle at a 1.4 rating.

The episode, which also faced competition from CBS’ monster “The Big Bang Theory,” averaged 4.5 million viewers.

Though down, “Sing” still performed well enough to beat FOX’s “The X Factor” results show in the key demo. The one hour episode, during which group act Restless Road was eliminated from the competition, posted a 1.2 with 4.9 million viewers.
