One dwelling on the bleakness of FOX’s Tuesday lineup need look at the NBC Thursday roster to learn the true meaning of disappointing.
NBC’s three comedy series, which all delivered season lows, barely registered Thursday evening.
Proving that quality does not guarantee audience quantity, critically acclaimed “Parks and Recreation” sank to a mere 1.0 adults 18-49 rating for its back-to-back telecasts. Episode one attracted 2.94 million viewers, while the 8:30PM segment drew 2.69 million.
9PM newcomer “Sean Saves the World” attracted 2.97 million viewers and matched last week’s series low 0.9 adults 18-49 rating. “The Michael J. Fox Show” then sank to a series low 0.9 rating of its own at 9:30PM. It attracted just 2.80 million viewers.
“Parenthood” closed out the night with a 1.2 rating and 3.61 million viewers.
