The Grammy for Album of the Year will spend another year in the hands of an English act.
A year after going to Adele for her blockbuster “21,” the top Grammy prize will spend the coming year with fellow English artists Mumford & Sons, who won for “Babel.”
An act that rose to superstardom during its collaboration with the Avett Brothers and Bob Dylan on the Grammy stage, Mumford & Sons is now one of the top-selling acts in music, and “Babel” was a phenomenal success.
Notable about the Mumford & Sons win is that it kept Frank Ocean winless in the “big four” Grammy categories. Fun. won for song of the year and best new artist, while Gotye claimed the record of the year prize.
