The streak is over–Sunday’s broadcast of the NFL’s Super Bowl XLVII did not set the all-time ratings record.
After several years of record-setting broadcasts, this year’s edition of the Super Bowl, presented by CBS, dipped slightly from the prior year’s mark.
The game between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers ranked third on the all-time list with 108.4 million, trailing the prior two Super Bowls (Giants-Patriots in 2012 and Packers-Steelers in 2011).
Last year’s game, still the most-watched television show ever in the United States, attracted 111.4 million.
