CM Punk’s string of assaults on Jerry “The King” Lawler solidified his heel turn from a storyline perspective, but things could get very interesting come Monday’s RAW.
With RAW taking place in Chicago, Punk is certain to receive a strong babyface reaction, and so WWE’s handling of that crowd support will be very interesting. Will Punk deliver a crowd-bashing promo or assault another likable babyface to turn the audience? Or will WWE simply play into his home field advantage as he prepares for his Night of Champions match with Cena, which takes place in the challenger’s Boston backyard?
Also expected for RAW: more anger management material with Daniel Bryan and Kane and the latest in the Vickie Guerrero vs. AJ storyline.
— According to PWInsider.com correspondents, Paul Heyman is at the site of tonight’s RAW, although it is hardly certain he will make any sort of appearance.
