WWE’s Rosa Mendes Involved in Airport Incident; Feared Fiancee Might “Kill Her”

While a rumor claiming WWE Diva Rosa Mendes was arrested for public intoxication appears false, TMZ.com confirms that the one-time Diva Search runner-up was indeed involved in an incident at San Antonio International Airport.

According to the story, police found Mendes crying in a bathroom stall at the airport. She repeatedly noted that she needed help.

Mendes alleged to the present authorities that former WWE performer Jackson Andrews, her fiancee, “hit her several times at their shared residence in Las Vegas.”

Mendes had flown from Las Vegas to San Antonio, the site of Monday’s WWE RAW.

According to police, the Diva explained that she “was afraid [her fiancé] would try and kill her. She also stated the abuse had been an on-going thing.” She filed a battery report with police, who took 30 photos of her body to confirm the existence of bruising and scratches.

Contrary to rumors, Mendes was not arrested for public intoxication, although she was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the interaction with police.

A WWE spokesperson confirmed to TMZ that Mendes had contacted company officials to inform them of the incident.

Confirmed the representative, “WWE is supportive of Rosa and will provide her with professional assistance.”
