A new Scott Hall mugshot that circulated early this week was not for naught–a TMZ.com report confirms that the wrestling veteran was arrested for a domestic battery incident.
According to the report, police arrived at Hall’s Florida home after an alleged incident with his girlfriend Lisa Howell.
Howell claims that she got into an argument Hall, who had allegedly been “drinking for days.” She says that as she attempted to leave the scene in her car, the drunken Hall was embarked on a “blind rage” as he grabbed her by the throat and tried to pull her from the driver’s seat.
Police on the scene said they noticed an “unknown white secretion flowing from both sides of his mouth.” They also saw signs of a physical struggle on Howell, although Hall denied getting violent.
Hall appeared so drunk that the local jail would not process his booking until he got medical clearance from a nearby hospital.
He was booked on a domestic violence charge, although sources say Howell will not be pressing charges.
