WWE Lockerroom Gives Undertaker a Pass on WrestleMania 28 Mistake

While the general reaction to this year’s Undertaker/Triple H/Shawn Michaels WrestleMania program has been very positive, there has been some criticism over an element of rust in The Undertaker’s promos. The WWE veteran has seemed to lose focus in his interviews occasionally, and no moment provided a better example than a mistake in his recent RAW exchange with Shawn Michaels.

In building up his WrestleMania match, which will involve Shawn Michaels as guest referee, Undertaker referred to a date of April 21, a date which actually comes nearly three weeks after WrestleMania on April 1. Though not quite as bad as Jeremy Piven’s infamous “Summerfest” goof, it was a pretty glaring error for such an established veteran to make, and it received significant mockery on the Internet.

Within the WWE lockerroom, however, the issue went completely unnoticed. This would normally be the thing wrestlers pounce on from a humor standpoint, but F4WOnline.com notes that the respect level for Undertaker is so high that no one dared raising the issue aloud.
