In a drastic dose of good news for Randy Orton and his fans, WWE.com is now reporting that the sidelined Superstar could return to action in just a few weeks.
Announced as requiring a six-month absence at last night’s SmackDown! house show, the injury, now confirmed as a herniated disc on the L4-L5 level, is not as serious as was apparently feared. WWE says that with anti-inflammatory medication, physical therapy and rehab, Orton can be back in action very soon.
For the time being, Sheamus will replace Orton in advertised house show matches.
