Did The Rock’s “Boots to Asses,” “Cena’s Lady Parts” Trend on Twitter?

Since the focus of WWE’s key Monday Night RAW promo was as much about trending on Twitter as it was promoting Sunday’s Survivor Series, it is interesting to see whether the efforts worked.

Did The Rock, in fact, get some of his catchphrases to “trend” on the social network?

The answer, sadly for those who want to see WWE back away from its heavy Twitter push, is yes. “Boots to asses” reached the upper-half of the worldwide trending chart and had some staying power in the spot.

“Cena’s lady parts,” as a hashtag, also trended at the end of RAW, reaching as high as number two on the worldwide list.

Members of the Figure 4 Weekly message board followed the trends in real-time, noting that the following other WWE-related terms made their mark as worldwide trending topics:

Michael Cole
Anaconda Vise (as Anaconda Vice)
Mick Foley
Hunico
Cody Rhodes
Vickie Guerrero
Mason Ryan
Foley is God
This is Your Life
John Cena, Sr.
Santino Marella
