TMZ reported this weekend that TNA Wrestler and former WWE standout Kurt Angle was arrested for “driving under the influence” early Sunday morning.
Its headline, however, uses the term “DWI” (the typically-more serious driving while intoxicated).
According to the TMZ report, Angle’s car was spotted swerving between lanes on I-66 in Virginia. A witness made a call to police, and Virginia State Troopers allegedly arrested Angle and booked him in Warren County Jail.
Angle was released at 3:31AM on $2000 bond.
