WWE Reveals Injury Angles for Sin Cara, The Big Show

Despite publicly confirming that Sin Cara will be missing a month of ring time due to a Wellness Policy suspension, WWE is still playing up the injury angle established at Money in the Bank.

In a WWE.com update, the company notes that Sin Cara “suffered a posterior fractured rib and will be out of action for at least four weeks” following the powerbomb he took from Sheamus in the SmackDown! MITB bout.

WWE.com also built an angle around Mark Henry’s post-match attack on Big Show’s leg. “As a result of Mark Henry’s brutal assault following their match at Money in the Bank, initial reports from medical technicians treating The World’s Largest Athlete reported that Henry’s vicious actions have left Raw’s resident giant with a distal fracture of the fibula that will keep him out of action for six to eight weeks,” explains the website.

The story teases that if Show’s “injury had been more serious than originally thought, The World’s Largest Athlete could have been sidelined for up to four months.”
