UFC President Dana White is never one to dampen his opinion, and the head of the leading mixed martial arts promotion went public with his glee over Fedor Emelianenko’s second Strikeforce loss.
Following Fedor’s second-round doctor’s stoppage loss to Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, White Tweeted a smile, “:).” M1 Global fighter Byron Bird took Fedor to task over his dismissal of someone who made such a positive contribution to the sport, prompting a reply from White:
“WTF has he done for the sport!? Ur f*cking nuts.”
He later added “M1 = M done! What did I tell you Vadummy!!” as a shot at Fedor’s management group.
Since lucrative negotiations between White’s UFC and Fedor Emelianenko last broke down, White has become a very vocal critic of the fighter once viewed as the best of all-time. He has shown a particular happiness with Fedor’s recent losses.
