Although WWE might keep the door open to create a late WrestleMania hook, as of press time, it does not appear that there is much to the rumor of Kimbo Slice appearing at WrestleMania 27.
Rumors suggested that Slice would be working the show as Undertaker’s special enforcer, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, representatives close to the MMA fighter and YouTube star are unaware of anything like that being planned.
Further, a WWE insider has added that the company does not see too much marquee value in Slice, with concern existing over whether his tough guy image still carries weight given how limited he looked in his high-profile runs with Strikeforce and UFC.
— The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also reports that Shawn Michaels has conveyed a desire for Ric Flair to attend this year’s WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, during which HBK will be inducted into the HoF. It is unlikely WWE would ban Flair if he decided to take Michaels up on his invitation, but assuming Flair’s relationship with TNA is still in existence at the time, it is unlikely he would get much, if any, camera exposure.
