Latest Backstage News on Kaval’s WWE Release

Yet another report suggests there was not necessarily a major blow-out that led to Kaval’s WWE release.

According to F4WOnline.com, the word going around is that Kaval himself essentially promoted the release, with the wrestler expression frustration over creative having no direction for his character.

WWE’s previous hesitation to grant wrestlers releases has largely been abandoned with the realization that TNA Wrestling does not represent viable competition. Prior to this year, WWE would often make getting a release difficult–a famous story claims that Charlie Haas was essentially “paid to sit at home” so that WWE could keep him under contract–if it felt the wrestler could provide value to competitor TNA.

Now, with TNA having shown no growth since its big Monday night special last January, WWE does not appear as concerned with unhappy wrestlers leaving.

Kaval announced that he will return to the indy scene as Low-Ki.
