Conflicting reports emerged Sunday of an issue involving Jeff Hardy at the TNA Final Resolution pay-per-view.
While Hardy ultimately ended up participating in the main event, rumors said that TNA officials had, at one point Sunday, considered pulling the wrestler from the show.
According to ProWrestling.net, Hardy apparently gave signs of being in the dreaded “no condition to peform” and officials began considering alternatives for the main-event. One plan called for TNA to announce that Hardy was “injured” and that he was being stripped of the title.
PWInsider.com, however, says that while there was some sort of issue, what ultimately made it to the Internet was a “misunderstanding.”
Ultimately, the call was made to keep Hardy on the show and to allow him to retain his title. Whether the supposed incident will have any impact on his future remains to be seen.
