TNA Wrestlers Unhappy With Main Event Angle, Rob Van Dam News

Early indications are that the Hardcore Justice pay-per-view produced a spike over the average TNA Wrestling buyrate earlier this month, but that is not keeping wrestlers happy about the EV2.0 stable.

Without even considering the waning iMPACT! ratings, there is reportedly “significant dressing room unrest,” according to a report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The F4WOnline.com story says that several top names believe pushing EV2.0, let alone as a top act, is a big mistake for the promotion going forward.

Nostalgia acts have not consistently delivered results for TNA–even the introduction of major names like Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, which brought additional buzz to the company at the early part of the year, ultimately failed to mean anything positive for the success of the company.

— As an update on Rob Van Dam’s scheduling limitations, the Observer notes that he is booked for 75 dates in 2010 and has already worked about 60.
