WWE’s NXT Invasion, Storyline Explanation For Bryan Danielson Release

In a rather predictable conclusion to RAW, the WWE NXT “graduates” laid out Bret “Hit Man” Hart to conclude the brand’s Fatal 4 Way hype.

Earlier in the show, Hart “fired” Wade Barrett and said he would not meet the rookies’ demands for contracts, private dressing rooms and first class travel accommodations. The rookies later attempted to interfere in a John Cena promo, but they were sent running by a unified group of WWE’s faces and heels.

Their final “retribution” then became obvious. Hart ordered the lockerroom to the stage to assure no one invaded in the show’s main-event; he, interestingly, did not stay at ringside. Well into the 11PM hour, the house lights went dark, and attention turned to the Titan Tron. Backstage, the seven NXT invaders had Bret Hart by his arms. They threw him into a limo, which cued up a scene in which the limo backed up (rather slowly) into a number of cars in the parking area.

The show closed with the NXT stars opening the door to reveal an injured Bret Hart; Wade Barrett said he wants an answer on the demands from Bret Hart by Sunday’s pay-per-view.

— In the opening segment, Wade Barrett addressed Bryan Danielson’s release by saying that Daniel Bryan would no longer be joining the NXT radicals due to having “remorse” for what they did last week.
