Shortly after losing to heavyweight legends in Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fedor Emelianenko, Tim Sylvia downgraded his competition significantly for a “freak show” bout with Ray Mercer, the veteran boxer who got demolished by Kimbo Slice in a mixed martial arts fight.
For Sylvia, however, things went differently–the former UFC Heavyweight Champion was dropped in less than ten seconds.
After scoring a rebound victory over Jason Riley, Sylvia returned to the freak show realm with a fight against multiple-time World’s Strongest Man winner Mariusz Pudzianowski at Friday’s “Moosin: God of Martial Arts.”
Would Sylvia lose another match to an unseasoned MMA fighter? Or, would he show why he was once considered one of hte absolute best heavyweights in the world.
