Fresh off a loss to Fedor Emelianenko, Brett Rogers nonetheless had the chance to recover in a big way with a shot at Alistair Overeem’s Strikeforce Heavyweight Championship Saturday.

The Rogers-Overeem fight headlined the 5/15 “Heavy Artillery” event, which also featured Andrei Arlovski’s attempt to rebound from setbacks in a fight against Antonio Silva and a battle between Jacare Souza and Joey Villasenor.
