MMA Junkie reported Monday that Forrest Griffin was forced to withdraw from an upcoming bout with veteran light heavyweight Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
According to the story, a presently undisclosed injury will keep Griffin out of the scheduled fight, which was to serve as the co-main-event for UFC 114.
At press time, UFC was reportedly working on identifying a replacement opponent for Nogueira, who is coming off a devastating knockout victory over highly-touted Luiz Cane.
For Griffin, this would have been his first fight since a November decision victory over Tito Ortiz.
