— TNA Wrestling will be making a major announcement on Monday, and the belief from those within the industry is that it will involve a permanent move to Monday nights.
Sources say TNA had originally been eyeing a Monday premiere date of March 1, but March 8 or 22 now seem to be the more likely candidates for iMPACT’s jump into RAW’s crosshairs.
— In an interview with Heavy.com, Bobby Lashley strongly implies that he is not currently working with TNA and will instead focus entirely on mixed martial arts in the short-term.
“I don’t really know much man. I had a talk with the guys a while back about doing both. Everything seemed to be working well. I think maybe there were some complications there towards the end. I got back home and got all these calls from people saying that I had been released from wrestling. So as far as I know, I’ve been released, so yes, I can focus full time on MMA,” says Lashley.
For what it is worth, the comment was set up following a mention of his “storyline” release from TNA Wrestling–most, nonetheless, believe that storyline will prove to be reality for the near-term as Lashley commits to his career in Strikeforce.
